Circa 1870 this pair of 14K yellow gold earrings has gone through the ages to showcase a lovely shell design with light blue enamel. The earrings are composed of two sections with an articulated hinge. The ear wire is nicely rounded and easy to wear.
There are tiny details such as the tiny round gold bead detail which is almost like a milgrain but not quite. The gold has a soft glow which is from the years of wear creating a unique patina.
These are of course one of a kind to us, I sourced them from an antique dealer while on a buying trip. I had been binge watching Bridgerton which likely influenced my decision.
